Medial Sounds Clip Cards

Practice identifying medial sounds in CVC and CVCe words with these long and short vowel sound clip cards. These cards make a great fine motor literacy center for students working on this phonics skill.

Types of Cards

• 56 cards with words (medial vowel sound left off)
• 56 cards with just pictures

There are two versions of the cards to allow for differentiation. See the preview for examples of each type of card.

How to Use:

Students will use clothes pins or clips to mark the vowel sound on each clip card.
