The activities in this bundle are perfect for helping students develop the fine motor skills needed for using scissors and learning to write. All activities are print and go! Simply add the manipulatives needed to complete each activity!
This pom pom mats set includes three different activities. Students can use the dot art mats to match colors, the pom pom mats to build the shapes, and the grid mats to copy the grid pattern to make shapes.
Have students squeeze and squish playdough to build hand muscle strength. Each playdough mat includes a fun shape for students to make.
Use cotton swabs and paint to decorate each picture. These dot painting mats allow students to be creative in decorating their picture while also practicing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Use pencils, markers, crayons or other writing tools to connect the numbers in order. Some mats are for 1-10, 1-20, and 30+ to accommodate students at different levels of number recognition and counting skills.
Ue dot markers to complete each image! With the black and white images, students can choose the colors to fill in each dot. With the colored mats, encourage students to match the dots with the surrounding colors. These mats not only help with fine motor skills, but also with hand-eye coordination.
Build fine motor strength by putting together and taking apart connecting cubes to create each shape! Students can also simply place the blocks on top of the mat to create the image.
Learn to hold and use scissors correctly with this cutting activity. Students will cut lines and shapes, as well as complete a fold and cut craft to practice cutting with scissors.
Students will use a push pin to poke each of the holes to make each image. Students will practice hand-eye coordination by using the pin on each hole, as well as practicing one to one correspondence by poking the pin into each hole only once.
Students will practice pencil control with these tracing printables. Students will trace the lines to complete each image and then trace the word describing that image. If the student is completing a black and white page, they can decorate or color their image after tracing the lines.
Students can find their way through the mazes or trace the path through each maze with this set of maze worksheets. Students will have practice tracing or drawing a line that moves in various directions.
