The counting forward mats, skip counting mats and comparing number mats can be used with cookie sheets and magnets. Simply place magnets on the back of the number cards and place the mats on the cookie sheet. The clip cards, comparing number cards and tens frames cards make great task box activities which allow for easy set up and clean up.

Skills Assessed:

  • Counting 1-20 in various ways
  • Skip Counting by 2, 5, and 10
  • Counting Forward
  • Comparing Numbers 1-10
  • Number Recognition

These counting and cardinality centers are low prep. Each center will need to be printed out and cut apart. Once cut apart, the teacher simply needs to add clips for the clip cards and if making file folder games, they will need to put those together.
